For over 50 years, the V7 has symbolised authenticity, fun and riding enjoyment. Today the V7 legend is back with more character and more technology but what hasn’t changed is its eternal appeal. Meet the V7 Stone, V7 Special and V7 Sport – three versions designed to express every facet of the Moto Guzzi soul. Whatever your style, you’ll find a V7 that alights your passion.
Distinctive eleganceStyle and attention to detail combine with technology to showcase the V7’s legendary charisma. Iconic V7 elements such as the sculpted 21-litre fuel tank and cylinder heads –symbol of the Mandello V-Twin – remain, but the engine has been fine-tuned and performance elements enhanced. On the aesthetics front, it features sinuous lines and DRLs designed to form the eagle outline and leave no doubt that this is a true Moto Guzzi.
Moto Guzzi DNAThe classic air-cooled, transverse V-twin engine with shaft drive maintains its unique architecture but is now Euro 5+ compliant. With max power of 67.3 hp at 6900 rpm and torque of 79 Nm at 4400 rpm, the V7 delivers smooth, responsive output that is noticeably grunty at low and medium revs. In short, an electrifying core that will deliver the thrills every single ride.
Technology and electronicsThe V7’s electronics package ensures safe, comfortable riding courtesy of ABS, Cruise Control and a Ride-by-Wire electronic throttle that optimises fuel consumption and activates the various riding modes. And, if you choose the V7 Sport, you also get six-axis IMU with Cornering ABS and Cornering Traction Control, which regulate braking and traction in line with lean angle. On top of this you can opt for SPORT riding mode (together with ROAD and RAIN), which uses a more reactive engine map that is ideal if yuu are after fun, dynamic riding.
Authentic And MinimalistMinimalist, brimming with character and easy to ride, the V7 Stone makes a statement with its contemporary, unmistakably Moto Guzzi design. The V engine, pure aesthetic and black finish leave no doubt that this bike is no shrinking violet.
Features may include:
The Moto Guzzi V7 Stone combines style and attention to detail. The 21-litre fuel tank, the largest in its category, is sculpted between the heads of the V engine and integrates with the lines of the side panels. The shortened rear fender and the aggressive-looking exhaust terminals enhance the sleek, dynamic lines. Rounding out the design are the headlight with eagle-silhouette DRLs and six-spoke aluminium wheel rims.
Pure Moto Guzzi DNA: the V-Twin, with a shaft drive and air cooling, delivers 67.3 hp at 6900 rpm and a torque of 79 Nm at 4400 rpm, performing at its best in the mid and low rev range. Euro 5+ compliant, the Mandello twin-cylinder has evolved in its cooling and intake system while preserving that distinctive Moto Guzzi sound.
The Moto Guzzi V7 Stone’s electronic package makes riding even safer and more intuitive. The multi-map Ride-by-Wire throttle optimises power control while MGCT (Moto Guzzi Traction Control, which can be disactivated if necessary) plays an important part by adapting to the two Riding Modes. These are ROAD if you’re looking for a more reactive, fun ride and RAIN for better grip on wet surfaces. ABS delivers braking control while Cruise Control offers greater comfort, on short outings and long trips alike. On top of all this is a digital instrument panel along with full LED lighting complete with DRLs.
